Walking in Pendle
There are many countryside and hill walks right from the door of Thorneyholme Farm Cottage, whether strolling into Roughlee for a pint at the Bay Horse, investigating the characterful small villages or tackling Pendle Hill itself.
Barley and Newchurch are just under one mile and there are many footpath routes including part of the Pendle Way to take in the stunning countryside of the Forest of Bowland and Pendle Witch country.
